The MAHLE M40 system is designed for long-term use. You only need to follow a few guidelines to extend the life of the system.

• Contact your point of purchase or a bicycle dealer for information on installation and adjustment of products not included in the user manual.

• Do not disassemble or modify this product.

• There are small waterproof connectors. Avoid unnecessary repeated connection and disconnection, as this may impair their functionality.

• The components are designed to be fully waterproof and withstand riding conditions in wet climates. However, do not deliberately immerse them in water.

• The warranty does not cover natural wear and tear or deterioration due to normal use and the passage of time.

• The M40 system may be installed on children’s eBikes. In such cases, do not leave the child unsupervised and follow the safety instructions of the eBike manufacturer. Children must not carry out cleaning or maintenance without supervision. Manipulation of the components or the complete eBike system by children is prohibited.
